Michelle Kyle is an accomplished pianist and sensitive accompanist who recently relocated from Toronto to the countryside near Monkton, in the area of Stratford, Kitchener-Waterloo and London. She is available to accompany string, woodwind and brass instrumentalists, singers and dancers. Michelle works with professional, amateur and student musicians of all ages. She especially enjoys string-piano repertoire and German lieder. She welcomes collaboration with string and voice teachers to play for student lessons, examinations, juries, auditions, festivals, competitions and recitals. She is also an accompanist for singers preparing for art song recitals or opera and musical theatre auditions and roles, and for instrumentalists preparing for auditions and concert performances.
Michelle studied music at Brandon University and Wilfrid Laurier University, then completed a Master of Music degree at McGill University and a Fellowship Diploma from Trinity College of Music, London, England, both in piano performance. She has more than 30 years of experience as an accompanist.
Rehearsals can take place at her home studio with a Yamaha grand piano located at N0K 1P0, or elsewhere. She provides accompanying services within the yellow-circled area indicated below.
